Subliminal messages are therefore more effective in priming a target audience to choose one brand over another, rather than in recreating an real need for the product.

While it is has yet to be sufficiently proven that the brief subliminal messages can affect your behavior without you knowing, it is still arguable that subliminal advertising can be more effective than normal means of promotional communications which people are consciously aware of.

Not that they are going to be objecting to any tanks around the globe if they can be sure of being able to keep their petrol tanks topped up.

Reason Four: Its official, fat people have more illnesses. Obesity-related cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis and more are a direct result of being fat. For the pharmaceutical companies this is a source of ever increased profits which they can use to “buy” governments.

Reason Five: Fat people are unfit people. Unfit people sit at home watching television. Television is the biggest single source of advertising exposure of all time. More than half of all advertising is delivered via television. The more television a person watches, the more advertising they are exposed to. Every advertisement is aimed at convincing the viewer that they, their life, their body, and their relationships are not good enough. The result of all this advertising is personal dissatisfaction and the belief that buying something can create happiness. More tax revenue for the government.

Reason Six: Fat people are less happy. They are less happy with many aspects of their lives. Because fat people are less happy, they are more prone to the jealousy that advertising promotes. Unhappy people buy more stuff that they do not need in order to feel happy. This often results in debt, and debt is the slavery of the rich. I had heard of writing articles for promotional purposes for quite awhile after I started my internet business, but I never put much thought into it.
